Check Response Rates

Instructors can monitor Student Course Feedback response rates during the survey window through the Qualtrics Instructor/Admin Dashboard.

Response rates update as students submit surveys and are available until the survey closes.


Where to View Response Rates

  1. Log in to the Qualtrics Instructor/Admin Dashboard using your University SSO credentials.
  2. Select Student Course Feedback – Instructor/Admin Dashboard.
  3. Select Response Rates from the list of Pages on the left
  4. Response rates are displayed within the dashboard view.

If you do not see expected courses or sections, contact scf@utah.edu.


When Response Rates Update

Response rates update automatically as surveys are submitted.

You may monitor participation throughout the open survey period. Response rates will not change after the survey closes.

When Results Are Released

While response rates are visible during the survey window, full survey results are released only after final grades have been submitted and processed.

Instructors do not have access to survey responses prior to grade submission.


Low Enrollment & Confidentiality

In courses with low enrollment or low response counts, reporting practices may be adjusted to protect student confidentiality and reduce the risk of re-identification.

These practices are reviewed and approved through established governance processes.
